Dhubri: The Dhubri Forest Department organizes a big plantation drive in all of the district's schools on Tuesday.
The goal of raising awareness about the value of greeneries and trees in maintaining the ecology.
Forest officials visited a few of the town's schools to plant trees in partnership with the principal and school children following Covid-19 protocols.

The Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma directed all Assam DFOs to selected 50 numbers of sunable schools in their range jurisdiction, having a well boundary wall around the school complex and plant 21 different fruit-bearing varieties of trees in the school with the school management.
“We are really delighted to see the concept of the urban forest gaining a lot of momentum and spreading rapidly in the minds of people,” said Harish Chandra Nath, Ranger Check Station Dhubri.
