Assam PM Surya Ghar initiative: 1,100 solar rooftops installed, adding 3,723 kW of power

Under the ambitious PM Surya Ghar initiative, Assam has made remarkable strides in harnessing solar power to electrify households.

The implementation of solar rooftops in Assam has already achieved significant milestones:

1,100 solar rooftops have been installed across households, contributing to the state's renewable energy capacity.

A total of 3,723 kW of solar power has been added, significantly boosting the local power grid's renewable share.
