He also alleged that former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had appointed Hajela as the NRC State Coordinator with self-interest.
Dev went on to accuse former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru for India’s partition and said he did so in order to gain power.
Shiladitya further mentioned that India was a Hindu Rashtra in the past but later the term secular was included in the constitution for which giving citizenship on grounds of religion turned illegal.
