Hima Das secures 1st Division in Assam 12th exam

Guwahati, May 25, 2019:

Ace sprinter Hima Das has secured 1st Division with letter marks in the Assamese in the Higher Secondary (HS) exam. The 'Dhing Express' is a student of the Arts stream.

The examination results have been declared by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) on Saturday.

It is to be mentioned that the Hima Das appeared the examination while she was preparing for the 400m relay.

Meanwhile, in the HS examination, the 1st position has been secured by Khusboo Firdous (478) from Brilliant Academy Jr College, Darrang. Kaushik Kachari (475) from Pragjyotika Junior College, Jorhat and Gitanjali Borthakur (475)

Concept Junior College, Nagaon, jointly secured the 2nd position.

Kanyashree Bhagavaty (474) from Crescent Academy, Jorhat, secured the 3rd position.

The AHSEC has announced for the different websites and the mobile app to check the results which will be available at 9:00 am on Saturday.
