The Orang National Park was reopened on Thursday for tourists following its routine closure during the monsoon season.
The inauguration was done by Budhin Chandra Hazarika, principal of Kharupetia College, in the presence of environmentalists.
Speaking on the occasion, Hazarika urged the people to stand united in popularizing the park around the world.
On the other hand, the Agoratoli range of Kaziranga National Park, popular for its migratory avines, and the pelican gallery were reopened for tourists. Last month, two ranges of the park were reopened for tourists.
