Several rivers are flowing above the danger level following incessant rains in Arunachal Pradesh.

According to Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), the Brahmaputra is flowing above danger level at Neamatighat in Jorhat district, Dhansiri at Numaligarh in Golaghat district, Jia Bharali at NT Road Crossing in Sonitpur district and Beki at Road Bridge in Barpeta district.

The floods affected 221 villages in Dhemaji and 75 villages in Majuli. Altogether 585 people affected by the flood in Jonai sub-division of Dhemaji district are taking shelter in three relief camps.

Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Biswanath, Barpeta, Majuli and Dibrugarh districts have been adversely affected by the flood.
