Guwahati, January 19, 2019:

Political fights are always a matter of entertainment. The slamming and replying to fights by the political parties are always a topic of discussions within the state.

In a press conference addressed by former power minister Pradyut Bordoloi on Friday, he had alleged that Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is the new Jinnah of Assam.

Interestingly, replying to the accusation, a press release from the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) alleged that Tarun Gogoi and Pradyut Bordoloi are nephews of Jinnah.

Targeting the Peasant leader Akhil Gogoi, the press release mentioned that Gogoi has been misleading the people of the state in the taking the name of the ‘Jati’. Further, the press release under the signature of Deben Jyoti Morol, media coordinator of BJP mentions that Akhil Gogoi gave a wrong statement on Friday that Union home minister Rajnath Singh gave orders to the Assam Government regarding the settlement of the illegal immigrants and alleged that the peasant leader Akhil Gogoi has been spreading communalism in the state of Assam.

In the statement, the BJP assured that the implementation of the Clause 6 of the Assam Accord will safeguard the indigenous people of Assam and a total of 1 crore 10 lakhs Muslim’ arrogance will come to an end, the press release said.

BJP spokesperson Muminal Awal also criticizied Akhil Gogoi in the statement and assured that the implementation of Clause 6 will safeguard the identity of the indigenous people of Assam, and alleged that Akhil Gogoi doesn’t want that.

Meanwhile the struggle of the Bharatiya Janata Party is to demolish the political, social, economic and cultural aggression of the Bangladeshi Muslims, the statement stated.
