Truckload of IMFL seized, two held

Numaligarh (Assam), September 12, 2018:

The Golaghat Police seized a truckload of smuggled IMFL in Numaligarh on Wednesday.

The police said acting on a tip-off the seizure was made from a truck which was travelling from Arunachal Pradesh. The police intercepted the vehicle at a check post on National Highway 31 and intercepted the truck. Subsequently, the consignment was seized and the vehicle’s driver and the helper were arrested.

Police said the liquor-laden truck was en route to Dimapur from Bhalukpung in Arunachal Pradesh.
