A 26-year-old youth was beaten to death by eight men in Makum Rupnagar of Tinsukia district in Assam over some issue on April 25.
The deceased was identified as Pranjal Mora, a resident of Makum Rupnagar, who was killed mercilessly in front of his sister.
As per reports, the incident took place after an argument over some issue on April 25, following which, the group of eight men, attacked Moran in front of his sister.
Meanwhile, in connection with this incident, the family of the deceased lodged a complaint at Makum police station and later the police successfully arrested five people.
The arrested accused have been identified as Nita Tati, Jintu Tati, Naren Praja, Salil Chautal, and Kailash Panika.
However, three other accused involved in the incident are still on the run.
