Recognizing the student's promising academic potential and the family's financial challenges, AASU has committed to overseeing her educational journey. This decision was made after in-depth consultations with the student’s parents, ensuring that her academic aspirations remain unhindered by the recent trauma.

While addressing the media during his visit to Morigaon, AASU president Utpal Sharma confirmed the organization’s pledge, stating that they are fully committed to standing by the survivor and her family during this challenging time.

Sharma emphasized that AASU's intervention aims to secure a stable and uninterrupted education for the student, reinforcing the union’s role in protecting and uplifting the youth of Assam in times of distress.
