Assam: Bajali youth takes innovative approach for pollution-free picnic, rides bullock cart

In order to promote road safety and reduce environmental impact in Assam, the youth union in Pathshala has organized an unconventional picnic using a bullock cart.

Amidst the backdrop of the state government's stringent SOPs for picnic gatherings, the Pathshala Youth Sangha has embarked on an extraordinary initiative.

In adherence to the government-issued SOPs, the residents of Bajali are set to enjoy a picnic with a twist - opting for a buffalo cart as their mode of transportation.

The unconventional choice of a buffalo cart for the outing has garnered widespread attention, showcasing the community's commitment to both safety protocols and eco-friendly practices.

Earlier the Assam Police has released guidelines for picnic trips following a tragic incident where 12 individuals lost their lives in an accident.

The guidelines, issued on Wednesday, restrict travel during nighttime and advise picnickers against playing loud music inside vehicles.

The SOP aimed at preventing mishaps and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants
