Assam: BPF president visits Durga Puja pandals, wishes for communal harmony

Bodoland People's Front (BPF) president and former BTC Chief Executive Member, Hagrama Mohilary today visited the Durga Puja pandals around Kokrajhar on the occasion of Maha Ashtami. 

Mohilary was accompanied by former minister Pramila Rani Brahma BTC MCLAs Derhasad Basumatary, Prakash Basumatary and other BPF leaders as they visited several puja pandals today and sought blessings of Goddess Durga. 

The BPF president extended his greetings to the people for Durga Puja and wished for communal harmony in the BTC region. 

"We want that all the communities living in BTC to live peacefully. We want development of this region. I wished for all these while prayer to Goddess Durga. People should conduct Durga Puja together and pray together. I also prayer to Mother Durga that all the functions being held for Durga Puja conclude successfully," said Mohilary.
