As the vote counting for Sidli Assembly Constituency (No. 31) continues, United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) candidate Nirmal Kumar Brahma has taken a commanding lead as the 14th round of vote counting has ended.
The breakup of vote counts after the 14th round is as follows:
Nirmal Kumar Brahma (UPPL): 67,948 votes
Suddho Kumar Basumatary (BPF): 39,575 votes
Sanjib Warie (Congress): 4,464 votes
With a total of 114,572 votes counted so far, Brahma leads his closest rival, Suddho Kumar Basumatary of the BPF, by a significant margin of 28,373 votes.
