Assam: CEM of North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council inaugurates park at Jatinga Falls to attract tourism

Debolal Gorlosa, the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council, inaugurated a park and bridge at Jatinga Falls.  
                 
It is to be mentioned here that Dima Hasao is the only hill district in Assam and the scenic view of this hill district has always attracted tourists from all over the country and abroad, wherein Jatinga is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Dima Hasao district, which is full of natural beauty. 

Debolal Gorlosa, the chief executive member of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council, inaugurated a park and bridge at the Jatinga Falls on Maha Saptami.

About 12 kilometres from Haflong, this Jatinga Falls is located near the Haflong-Silchar national highway. A new park and bridge have been built for tourists at this waterfall. 

Inaugurating these bridges and parks today, Debolal Gorlosa said that the North Cachar Autonomous Council has taken massive steps to improve the tourism aspect of Dima Hasao district. 

And due to the opening of this charming waterfall in Jatinga tourists will be able to enjoy coming here. Debolal Gorlosa, the chief executive member of the North Cachar Hill Autonomous Council, appealed to the tourists coming here to maintain transparency at The Jatinga Falls. 

Today's event was attended by Acting Member of North Cachar Hill Autonomous Council Amendu Hojai Prajit Hojai and Principal Secretary of Hill Autonomous Council T T Dawlagapu.
