In a message marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma extended his greetings and lauded the PM's enduring dedication to the nation. Sarma emphasized that Modi has led a life marked by struggle and unwavering commitment to India's progress. "Prime Minister Modi has positioned India as a global superpower," stated Sarma, attributing the nation's rising status on the world stage to Modi's leadership.

He further highlighted PM Modi's vision to transform India into "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India) by 2047, urging all Indians to pledge their support in achieving this goal. "On this day, every Indian should resolve to follow the path shown by PM Modi to make India a developed nation," Sarma added.

The Assam Chief Minister also addressed concerns regarding illegal infiltration. He pointed out an uptick in infiltration cases, specifically mentioning the Santhal region.
