In a collaborative effort, the Margherita Rehabilitation Center, along with ICTC, Margherita CHC FRU, and Guide NGO Tinsukia, organized an awareness and screening camp for Hepatitis B and C, HIV, and Tuberculosis. The event took place on Tuesday at the center's premises located on Makum Pather 3 Number Mache Gaon Road, within the Margherita subdivision of Tinsukia district.
The camp saw 26 patients, currently receiving treatment at the Margherita Rehabilitation Center, undergo tests for Hepatitis B and C, HIV, and Tuberculosis. Karuna Das, Project Manager at Guide NGO Tinsukia, stated that the results would be available in a few days.

Diku Singh, the proprietor and president of the Margherita Rehabilitation Center, emphasized that these tests are crucial for determining whether any patients have contracted these diseases.
The initiative was driven by several key individuals, including Karuna Das, Tanuj Borah (ORW, Guide NGO Tinsukia), Joyshri Dutta (ICTC Counselor, Margherita CHC FRU), Esanul Hasim (Laboratory Technician, Margherita CHC FRU), Diku Singh, and Debaraj Baruah (Secretary, Margherita Rehabilitation Center).
