Assam Congress forms five strategic committees ahead of by-elections

The state Congress president, Bhupen Borah, announced the formation of five committees to oversee the upcoming by-election. 

This decision comes as part of the party's preparations and strategy for the bypolls.

Speaking to the media, Bhupen Borah said, "We have formed five committees in which Gaurav Gogoi, Rokibul Hussian, Pradyut Bordoloi, Jakir Hussain Sikdar and Ajit Singh will be part of it. We have also directed our alliance partners to submit the names of the candidates by tomorrow."

Bora emphasized the importance of the by-election for the party and expressed confidence in the newly formed committee's ability to manage the electoral process efficiently.

The committee will be responsible for planning and executing various campaign activities to ensure a strong performance in the by-polls.

The Congress party is focused on strengthening its presence and addressing key issues that concern the electorate. 

Bora urged party members and supporters to work cohesively towards achieving a favourable outcome in the by-election.
