A truck driver from Assam carrying vegetables has been allegedly assaulted by Naga miscreants in the Longwa area of Nagaland.
Narrating his ordeal, the driver said that the miscreants physically assaulted the victim and abused him.
The victim identified as Abdul Kader said, "When he was coming back from Longwa side after delivering vegetables, three Naga men caught him and started abusing him. After this, the car was set on fire."
Following this, the victim reached the Mon district police station, but to his shock, the police also allegedly started abusing him and slapped him. The victim was threatened not to disclose about the incident.
