Assam: Fatal accident on NH-17 claims truck driver's life in Dhubri, one injured

A tragic accident on National Highway 17 near Golakganj, Dhubri, has resulted in the death of a truck driver on June 26.

The incident occurred when a truck bearing registration number WB-11-F-8170 lost control and overturned onto the opposite side near Bishnodai village panchayat on NH-17.

The deceased driver has been identified as Gautam De from Kolkata, Howrah. Alongside him, the handyman Shahib Sha, who hails from Howrah was seriously injured in the accident. 

The local authorities and emergency responders were promptly alerted to the scene to provide medical assistance and manage the aftermath of the incident.
