The blaze, which erupted at Shahidul Islam's home, is believed to have originated from a cooking gas cylinder, according to eyewitness reports.
Local fire services responded promptly to the emergency, working alongside community members to bring the flames under control.
Despite their efforts, the fire caused extensive destruction, with initial estimates suggesting losses exceeding Rs 2 lakh in goods and furniture.
