Assam: Government employee's lifeless body found in Barpeta

In a shocking incident, the lifeless body of a government employee was discovered behind the District Industries Centre (DIC) office in Barpeta. The deceased has been identified as Dimbeshwar Das, a resident of Ward No. 17 in Barpeta town.

Notably, Das held the position of secretary at the Baharihat regulated market committee. Alongside his body, a bottle of poison was also discovered, leaving locals uncertain about whether the incident is a case of murder or suicide.
