Assam Governor felicitates CBSE school toppers at Miles Bronson Residential School in Guwahati

50 top-performing students from CBSE-affiliated schools across Guwahati were honored at Miles Bronson Residential School in Borjhar, Guwahati. The first Sahodaya CBSE Board Toppers Felicitation Ceremony took place at 11:00 a.m. in the AnuChandra Auditorium and Multi-Sports complex.

Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, the event's chief guest congratulated the students for their outstanding achievements. In his speech, he stressed the importance of a well-rounded education that balances academics with co-curricular activities, which he believes is crucial for the all-around development of students. Governor Kataria also highlighted the significant potential of India's youth to contribute to societal change through quality education and meaningful experiences.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Sandeep Tandon, Regional Officer of CBSE, Guwahati, and Jagadish Barman, Joint Secretary, COE, Regional Office, Guwahati. Both dignitaries praised the students for their hard work and dedication, encouraging them to continue their pursuit of excellence.

The president of Sahodaya and principal of MBRS emphasized the importance of recognizing academic excellence. He noted that celebrating student success not only boosts their self-esteem but also fosters a positive school culture and motivates other students to achieve their best. He underscored that such events are vital in inspiring students to strive for higher goals.

The ceremony was attended by the honored students, their parents, and principals from 50 CBSE schools in Guwahati. Among the schools represented were Army Public School Basistha, Delhi Public School Guwahati, Faculty Higher Secondary School, Don Bosco School Panbazar, Royal Global School, Sainik School Goalpara and other.
