In a significant crackdown on illegal activities, authorities seized 83 kilograms of ganja and a handmade gun during coordinated police operations in the Mazbat, near the Assam-Arunachal border.
Sanjay Kumar Dubey, the officer-in-charge of Mazbat police station, and I.C. Bhaskar Bora from Lalpani police station led the raids at Habi near Nija Centre. The first operation uncovered a handmade gun concealed in the dense jungle, highlighting the extent of illicit weapon activities in the area.

In a subsequent operation, law enforcement officers discovered 83 kilograms of cannabis hidden in various parts of the forest, underscoring the region's ongoing struggle with drug trafficking.
Authorities have registered a case at Mazbat police station under Number 19/24 in relation to the seizures. The investigations are ongoing as the police aim to dismantle the networks responsible for these illegal operations.
