Assam: Intoxicated woman’s rampage leaves trail of destruction in Dibrugarh; three hospitalized

Chaos erupted in Dibrugarh's central area as a young woman, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, went on a driving rampage, injuring multiple people and damaging vehicles on PN Road. Driving an I20 with the license plate AS19E4127, the woman collided with several vehicles and pedestrians along the busy stretch, continuing recklessly toward the under-construction flyover at Thana Chari Ali.

Her vehicle ultimately crashed into a pottery shop beneath the flyover, where three workers suffered severe injuries and were rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Distressed locals, including several women, confronted the driver before police arrived on the scene to defuse tensions. Officers managed to bring the situation under control and took the woman into custody.
