Days ahead of the upcoming Panchayat elections in Assam, Kanika Roy has emerged victorious unopposed from Ward No. 6 of Harirhat Village Panchayat under Golakganj subdivision in Dhubri district.
With no other contenders filing nominations for the seat, Roy was declared the winner without a contest, marking a significant and smooth electoral moment for the region.
