Assam man assaults mason with iron rod in Baksa, suspect absconding

A mason from a village in Assam's Baksa was physically assaulted by a man at whose house he was working. A disagreement between them escalated, leading the owner, Kasumuuddin assault Ajay Barman with an iron rod. 

The attack resulted in a broken rib for the mason, leaving him bedridden.

Five days ago, the injured mason filed a complaint at the Gowardhana police station. However, the perpetrator has yet to be apprehended. 

Upon learning about the media coverage, the police visited the mason's house five days after the incident. Despite this, the suspect remains at large.

Kapil Dev Singh, the secretary of the Koch Rajbongshi Students' Union, along with the victim, has urged the authorities to swiftly arrest the culprit.
