Assam: Newborn declared dead, resurrects at Silchar hospital

In a bizarre turn of events at the Lifeline Nursing Home in Silchar, a newborn who was initially declared dead by doctors following birth, miraculously revived at a crematorium.

The tale began when a woman from Satla Ratanpur, Silchar, was admitted to the Life Line Nursing Home due to labor pains. Late into the night, she gave birth to a baby girl. SOon after the attending doctors informed the family that the newborn had not survived childbirth.

In accordance with this news, the family proceeded to take the lifeless infant to the Silchar crematorium. However, what unfolded next was a scene straight out of a Hollywood thriller. As the cremation ceremony was about to begin, the seemingly lifeless child suddenly exhibited signs of life. 

The family rushed the infant back to the nursing home. As of now, the resilient newborn remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under medical supervision. 
Dr. AF NUMAN, a physician at the hospital, officially confirmed the occurrence. According to Dr. NUMAN, the expectant mother arrived at the hospital after six days in medical college, with her unborn child at just six months of gestation. Both mother and child were in an extremely critical condition at the time of admission. The infant, weighing a mere 500 grams at birth, was initially declared dead by the medical team due to the absence of a heartbeat. The child is currently undergoing intensive medical treatment.
