Forest officials arrested a poacher from Namphai New Village under the Jagun Forest Department's jurisdiction.
The accused, identified as 54-year-old Dhiren Boro, has been involved in illegal wildlife hunting in the Tinkupani Reserve Forest on the Assam-Arunachal border for an extended period.
A raid at his residence led to the recovery of several incriminating items, including tiger skin, tiger teeth, tiger claws, and other hunting equipment.
Authorities are investigating the extent of the poacher's activities and his involvement in the trafficking of wildlife products.
