Assam: Residents demand action against miscreants harassing school students in Bongaigaon

Residents of Lengtisinga in Bongaigaon district have voiced their grievances regarding the increasing incidents of harassment by a group of miscreants who have repeatedly targeted students in the area.

Despite the residents’ repeated pleas to the school administration for intervention, no decisive action has been taken to curb the harassment. The situation escalated when a group of unidentified youths attempted to disrupt the peace in the region, intensifying the community's fears.

The escalating tensions eventually led to the involvement of the police, who were called in to restore order on the school premises.
