Assam: Sribhumi Kali temple marks 300 glorious years with grand procession and festivities

A massive rally was held to celebrate the historic 300th anniversary of the Sribhumi Town Kali Temple, drawing thousands of devotees from near and far.

The vibrant procession commenced at the temple premises and wove through the town’s main streets, showcasing elaborately decorated floats and devotional fervor.  

The anniversary celebrations, inaugurated today, are set to continue until December 12. The five-day festival will feature a series of special religious ceremonies, reflecting the spiritual significance and cultural heritage of the temple.  

Devotees and visitors are expected to gather in large numbers, adding to the grandeur of this milestone occasion for the Sribhumi community.
