Assam: Student mysteriously dies in Tinsukia school, family demands justice

A tense situation unfolded in Udaipur, Tinsukia district, after a student was found death within the school premises. The deceased, identified as Makaram Meket, was a resident of the school's hostel.

According to reports, Meket was found in a critical state early in the morning, having allegedly ingested a chip. The family had dropped him at the hostel only to be informed by school authorities that he had committed suicide.

However, the circumstances surrounding Meket's death remain unclear. The family strongly suspects foul play, asserting that his death was a premeditated murder rather than suicide. They have called for a thorough investigation and demanded that those responsible be brought to justice.

Responding to the incident, a Lekhapani police officer has arrived at the school and an investigation is currently underway.
