Assam: Three school students go missing from hostel in Bongaigaon

In a sensation incident, three school students have gone missing and are being suspected to have been kidnapped in Assam's Bongaigaon district. 

The incident took place at the Sonaikola Shankar Azan Jatiya Vidyalaya in Manikpur. The three students have gone missing from their hostel since last night. They have been identified as Minhaj Talukdar, Rafikul Islam and Najmul Haq. Of these, Najmul and Minhaj hail from No 2 Kavadi and Rafikul hails from Diwaguri. 

While Rafikul is appearing for the Matric exams this year, the other two missing minors are students of Class VIII. 

Families of the three missing students are fearing that they have been kidnapped by some miscreants. 

"He was studying in this school. He had given three exams, yesterday also he had given his exam. He has been missing since evening yesterday and since there are no whereabouts of him. He has been missing from the school premises, I don't know what really happened. We are not sure if it is a kidnap or something else. We cannot be sure as of now. We have searched for him everywhere but so far we have found no trace of him," said the father of the missing student Rafikul. 

School authorities meanwhile have informed the matter to the Manikpur police station after which probe has begun in this matter.
