A group of tourists from Guwahati encountered severe inconvenience while visiting Manas National Park on December 29, after their online pre-booked jeep safari was stated by the park's administration as invalid.
The group, eager to experience the park's breathtaking natural beauty and observe wildlife in their natural habitat, had pre-booked a jeep safari online, paying INR 4,500 in advance. However, upon arriving at the park, they were informed that their booking was invalid, leaving them in a state of frustration and disappointment.
The booking had been made through a Delhi-based phone number, raising concerns about fraudulent practices targeting unsuspecting tourists.
One of the affected tourists expressed their intention to report the matter to the police upon their return to Guwahati, emphasizing the need for action to prevent such incidents in the future.
