Assam: Wild Indian gaur terrorizes residents in Baksa, two seriously injured

In a startling incident on the Indo-Bhutan border near Nikashi in Baksa, residents were left in panic as a wild Indian gaur went on a rampage, injuring two individuals. The victims, identified as Madan Nirla and Rajesh Tirkey, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Musalpur Civil Hospital for urgent medical attention.

The wild Indian gaur, believed to have ventured out of the Batabari forest, unleashed chaos in the Nikashi area, causing alarm among locals. The terrifying ordeal was captured on camera, depicting the frantic attempts of the injured victims to fend off the aggressive animal.
