Assam woman takes over after driver suffers heart attack on Kedarnath trip, saves 18

In a display of extraordinary bravery, Minuma Boro, a 55-year-old woman from Tezpur's Kolibari in Assam, has been hailed a hero after she saved the lives of 18 women during a pilgrimage to Kedarnath and Badrinath. 

The group had set out on their spiritual journey on September 12, only to face an unexpected crisis along the way.

While navigating the treacherous mountain roads, the driver of the traveler they had hired from Delhi tragically suffered a fatal heart attack mid-journey, leaving the vehicle in peril on the dangerous terrain. 

Despite the shock and potential danger, Minuma, undeterred by the harsh conditions of the hilly roads, quickly took control of the vehicle.

With immense composure and determination, she skillfully maneuvered the vehicle to safety, ensuring that all 18 women on board escaped unharmed. 

Her courage has since become the talk of the town, with many praising her for her quick thinking and fearlessness in the face of adversity. The incident has left an indelible mark, making Minuma a symbol of resilience and heroism.
