Assam: Worker dies in Chabua’s Air Force Station after falling into machine

A Chabua Air Force employee died in the early hours of March 4 morning, after falling into a machine while performing his duties.

The deceased worker has been identified as Pranab Dutta.

Right after the incident, the deceased person's body was brought to the Chabua Police Station.
The other employees have been very uptight about the incident. The deceased employee's coworkers staged a protest and called for compensation and justice for the deceased worker.

Notably, in a similar incident, one person died in December last year when he got entangled in a crushing machine in Dima Hasao, Assam.

The terrible incident took place at a Panimur factory.

The deceased was identified as Ashok Borsaikia, a resident of Tinsukia.

Ashok was a former advisor of the All Assam Students' Union (AASU) in the Philobari region.
