Assam: Youth feared drowned during bath at Pahumara river

A youth has been feared drowned after he went missing during bathing in a river in Assam's Bajali district. 

The youth identified as Dishanku Roy has been missing ever since he went to take bath today at the Pahumara river at Hakartup. Dishanku was taking a bath in the river when he reportedly slipped and fell into the deep water. Three of his friends whowere there with him for the bath raised a hue and cry but by then he was swept away and went missing. 

Meanwhile, sensation prevails in the area as everyone is waiting for the news of the missing youth. A police team has also reached the spot along with a team of SDRF who are conducting search operations in the area. 

The missing is an under graduate student of the Nirmal Haloi College in Bajali.
