In yet another sensational incident of youths heading out of the state of Assam in search of job and dying under mysterious circumstances, a youth from Assam's Baksa was found dead in Gujarat on December 29 with family alleging foul play into the incident.
As per the deceased's family, Sujan Barman, son of Gaurang Barman, who had just shifted from Bengaluru to Gujarat's Ahmedabad for new job prospects, was found dead. All hell broke when the family received the news of Sujan's death yesterday.
Unable to bear the heart wrenching news, the younger brother of the deceased, Sujit Barman, attempted suicide by drinking poison. Sujit was rushed to the hospital where he is currently battling for his life in the ICU of Barpeta Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical Hospital.

A state of shock and grief has gripped Kuribeel village in Baksa from where the deceased hailed. Meanwhile, after receiving the news of his death, the family os Sujan have left for Gujarat to retreive his body.
The family while demanding probe into the incident, has requested Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's intervention into the incident.
On the other hand a team of youth committee of BTR Bengali Federation came to the deceased's residence today and took stock of the family.
Prasenjit Barman, president of the youth committee of the Baksa BTR Bengali Federation, said that youths from the state are being killed episodically outside Assam. Demanding a proper probe into the incident, the organisation has urged the state authorities to unearth the mystery of Sujit Burman's death at the earliest.
