Congress abandoned their traditional seats in Uttar Pradesh due to lack of confidence: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on April 30 stated that Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi left their traditional seats in Uttar Pradesh due to lack of self confidence. 

When questioned about the potential candidatures of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra from Amethi and Raebareli, Union Home Minister Amit Shah responded by stating, "I cannot confirm whether they will contest the elections or not, but the evident uncertainty suggests a lack of self-assurance on their part. The current scenario in Uttar Pradesh indicates that they have abandoned their long-held constituencies and fled..."

Amit Shah was speaking at a press conference in Guwahati, Assam where he made the remarks. 

Shah further slammed Congress for creating confusion in the society by desparately trying to project BJP as against the backward class. 

He expressed strong condemnation against Congress for spreading misinformation through appeasement politics. 

Highlighting their track record of governance, Shah emphasized their decade-long tenure marked by majority victories and significant legislative reforms, particularly in overturning antiquated laws dating back to the British colonial era. 

Despite accusations from the Congress of spreading misinformation, BJP reassures the public that constitutional provisions safeguarding the rights of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) will remain steadfast and intact. Moreover, they adamantly assert their commitment to preserving reservations for these marginalized communities.

Amit Shah while slamming Congress party said that the party is stooping low by making deep fake videos and spreading rumours among the people. He urged people to listen to the truth instead of believing in fake videos.

Shah added further that the government will implement UCC across the country and bring a uniform law for all and end Congress's appeasement tactics.
