Congress faces resistance at Sonapur eviction site, "Go Back" slogans raised by tribal organisations

In a tense standoff at Sonapur, Assam Congress party members were denied entry to the eviction site on September 14.

At Digaru Gate, several local parties and organizations, including the Tribal Union, formed human chains to obstruct their passage.

The situation grew heated as these groups chanted slogans of "Congress go back," signaling their strong opposition to the party's presence in the area.

The incident has added fuel to the already charged atmosphere in Sonapur, reflecting the complex dynamics and local discontent surrounding the ongoing eviction issue.
