Congress is zero with no clear ideology in the present time: Assam minister Pijush Hazarika

Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika launched a scathing attack on the Congress stating that the party has turned zero with no ideology of its own.

Pijush Hazarika was speaking at the mass joining programme in Jorhat where former Congress leader Rana Goswami too joined the BJP on March 17. More than 2000 Congress workers, led by Rana Goswami joined the saffron party in the presence of state BJP president Bhabesh Kalita and minister Pijush Hazarika.

"You have proved today itself by quitting Congress and joininig BJP. Several leaders including Bhabesh Kalita, Tapan Gogoi, Hemanta Kalita, Santanu Pujari, Kamakhya and many others are part of the BJP for a very long time. What does this prove? It proves that BJP pays attention not only towards the newly inducted but even the senior leaders. And this way this party works together for the entire state as well as the entire country", said Hazarika.

The minister speaking on the upcoming election added, This election is not a big thing for us. For BJP these elections hold not much importance. Serving the motherland is the prime duty of our party. You all must be keeping an eye on national media outlets where through their opinion polls have been reporting of more than 400+ seat win in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections".

According to Hazarika, the Congress lacks a clear ideology and leadership, leading to internal conflicts. He further stated that The Congress has allied with the BJP to overcome these issues. Hazarika concluded by suggesting that the Congress presently holds no significant political influence.
