Daughter of a spice vendor, Assam girl secures 6th position in class 12 board examination

There is happiness even in the midst of sorrow and there is laughter in the midst of tears. There are many brilliant students who despite all odds are touching the sky based on their talent. 

Financial constraints become an obstacle for such students to reach their destination, yet these students shine even in the midst of poverty on the strength of their talent.

Nandita Das, a student living with her parents in a rented room in Nauholia village, Barbheta, Jorhat has made her district as well as her parents proud by securing top position in Higher Secondary examination announced by AHSEC on June 6. Nandita Das appeared in the 12th examination from Jorhat CKB Commerce College, while the meritorious student secured 465 marks out of 500 marks and secured sixth place in the top ten of the entire state in the Faculty of Commerce.

It is known that Nandita, a meritorious student, is financially weak. Her father Raju Das sells goods from door to door, while her mother Anita Das works in many people's homes washing dishes and cooking. Like everyday, today the parents of the student had left for their work.

But, as in the results of the examination declared today, he got the news of the success of his daughter. So happiness started overflowing from their eyes and both of them came back home half way. As soon as they reached home, both of them hugged the daughter and during this Das could not hold back the tears of happiness in everyone's eyes for the success of the daughter in the house.

The parents of the student gave the credit of their daughter's success to her teachers. Along with, he told that the daughter has achieved this success due to her dedication and hard work. Gold is not pure until it is heated and it spreads its shine everywhere.

Jorhat's meritorious student Nandita Das has proved this statement by her shere determination and hardwork. On the other hand, the student gave the credit of her success to God along with her parents and teachers. 

Nandita has expressed her desire to pursue further studies in banking. At the same time, since the announcement of the result of the examination, there has been an influx of people to greet her at Nandita's house. Along with, everyone is wishing for the bright future of the financially weak meritorious student Nandita Das.
