Himanta and Yogi are enemies of PM Modi, claims AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal

All India United Democratic Front's Lok Sabha MP Badruddin Ajmal has fiercely targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government in an interview on February 22.

Targeting Modi, Ajmal called "Modi's real slogan is Sabka Saath, Sabka Satyanaash. Ajmal also said that Yogi Adityanath and Himanta Biswa Sarma are the real enemies of Modi. He said that PM Modi also wants the BJP to get the votes of Muslims, but they work against him.

Badruddin Ajmal said that Himanta Biswa Sarma has done the work of persecuting Muslims in Assam. Ajmal said that the Chief Minister of Assam dreams at 2 o'clock in the night that Muslims have not been persecuted for many days, so he keeps on doing one thing or the other. Badruddin Ajmal said that BJP leaders do not want Muslims to study and get educated. Muslims are being persecuted on the basis of religion.

The AIUDF MP also talked about Uniform Civil Code, NRC and CAA in the interview. Badruddin Ajmal said that we are against the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and will oppose the NRC-CAA till death. Badruddin Ajmal also objected to the slogan 'Sar tan se juda'. He said that they do not agree with this at all.

Referring to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Badruddin Ajmal said that if Modi and BJP have to be dethroned, then all the opposition parties will have to unite. He said that nothing is going to happen until all the opposition parties are united. Let us inform that in the past, former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi had also said this in an interview. He had said that if BJP has to be defeated, all opposition parties will have to join hands and people will have to be given an alternative.
In the past few days, the Assam government made thousands of arrests regarding child marriage.

In this matter, Badruddin Ajmal said that they are with the government in this matter and appeal to the people themselves not to marry minor girls. However, during this, Badruddin Ajmal questioned the intention of the government and said,

"Thousands of Muslims were arrested just for the marriage of underage girls, why not the Hindus?"

“Yes they are enemies. On one hand Prime Minister is saying that we need to bring in the Muslim community into the main fold as we will need their votes in the 2024 elections. But here they are running bulldozer government, targeting Muslims. Both Himanta Biswa Sarma and Yogi Adityanath is carrying out such activities. Don’t know which group these two belong. But one thing is certain that they are not part of Modi Ji’s group and both are working against Modi”, said Badruddin Ajmal while speaking to the media here in Guwahati, Assam.
