Himanta Biswa Sarma: BJP will win 10 to 12 seats in Jharkhand's Kolhan

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is amongst the star campaigners for for the first phase of the Assembly polls in Jharkhand, has asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will win 10 to 12 of the 14 seats in Kolhan. 
 

Speaking to reporters during a visit to Jharkhand's Kolhan, CM Himanta who is also the state election co-in-charge expressed confidence in the party's win. He stated, "There is a very good atmosphere in Kolhan."
 

The Assam chief minister remarked, "There are 14 seats and the BJP will win 10-12 seats."
 

Earlier, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma's name was added to the list of Bharatiya Janata Party's star campaigners for the first phase of the Jharkhand Assembly elections.
 

In addition to CM Himanta, the list released by the BJP includes the names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers JP Nadda, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and other leaders.
 

The names of 40 candidates have been included in the list of campaigners.
