Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has expressed strong confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) electoral prospects in Odisha, citing the resonance of the "PM Modi ka Pariwar" (PM Modi's family) ideology and the enthusiastic response from the electorate.
Sarma's remarks came during a recent interaction, where he stated the quality of BJP candidates in Odisha, highlighting their allegiance to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He remarked, "All the candidates of BJP are very good and are the followers of PM Modi. 'PM Modi ka Pariwar' is good so Naveen Patnaik is campaigning for BJP only."
Sarma projected a victorious outcome for the party, confidently stating, "BJP is going to form its government in Odisha. People have given a great response, they are very well aware of all the points mentioned in our manifesto. This is an indication that BJP is going to win in Odisha."
Sarma anticipated the sequence of events post-election, envisioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi's re-election followed by the swearing-in of a BJP member as Chief Minister in Odisha. He stated, "I think Narendra Modi will first take oath as the Prime Minister and then on 10th June, our party member will take oath as the CM in Odisha..."
