Indian army troops rescue girl from drowning in Brahmaputra River

In a remarkable display of bravery and quick response, troops from the Eastern Command of the Indian Army rescued a young girl from drowning in the Brahmaputra River on October 21. 


The incident occurred when the girl was swept away by the strong currents, putting her life in imminent danger.

Acting swiftly, the soldiers, who were in the vicinity, sprang into action and successfully reached the struggling girl and pulled her to safety. 

Their timely intervention prevented a potential tragedy, showcasing the army's commitment to serving the public beyond the call of duty.
