With traditional rituals and customs, the 'Lai KHuta' for the 77th session of the Asam Sahitya Sabha was ceremonially erected today, December 15 at the Bhattadev Kshetra by Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass.
Clad in traditional Assamese attire, people participated in the 'Lai Khuta' laying ceremony, symbolizing unity and cultural pride.
Highlighting the importance of preserving the community and the language, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all sections of society.
The upcoming session of the Assam Sahitya Sabha is scheduled to be held from January 31 to February 4, 2025.
Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass, along with the Sabha’s Secretary, Upendrajit Sharma, and several eminent personalities, graced today’s foundation-laying ceremony with their presence.
