Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal credits BJP cadre for electoral success

Union Minister for Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, on June 15, attributed the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) electoral victories to the dedicated efforts of party workers.

 

Speaking to reporters, Sonowal emphasised his role as a dedicated BJP worker and acknowledged the collective strength that propelled the party's success.

 

"I am a BJP worker, and it is my duty to come to the office," Sonowal stated, highlighting his commitment to serving the party's interests.

 

Reflecting on the source of his electoral victories, Sonowal credited the party's cadre, stating, "I got the strength to win the elections from here."

 

The Union Minister also praised the leadership of Bhabesh Kalita, the state president of the BJP in Assam. "Our party state president Bhabesh Kalita's leadership gave self-confidence to all our party workers," Sonowal said, acknowledging the crucial role played by Kalita in rallying the party's base.

 

He further stressed that the party's victories were the result of a united front, saying, "Everyone unitedly worked to make NDA win, and its results were very good."
