The continuous uproars against the citizenship amendment bill have not yet cooled down. While this time it was the tribal organisations under Janagusthiya Oikya Mancha the Moran, Mottock and Tai Ahom Students came forward to announce about a protest that is to be held on 27th June. The protest is scheduled on 27th June in Guwahati, 17th July in Tinsukia where they will stage a hunger strike on 30th July in Delhi. The following was announced through a press conference by the members of Janagusthiya Oikyo Moncho.

The organisations demanded including the separate identification of the tribes and protest against the citizenship amendment bill. It can be noted that they also stated about the negligence of the promises of the government made towards them. Offering prayers for Abhijeet and Nilotpol they also appealed for strict actions against the accused.
