Manipur's Thoubal Khunou becomes 1st village to be fully vaccinated with first dose in Thoubal

THOUBAL: Thoubal Khunou village in Thoubal district of Manipur has become the first village to be fully vaccinated with the first dose in Wangkhem Assembly constituency.

K. Meghachandra, Legislator of Wangkhem Assembly Constituency, of Thoubal District Manipur on Thursday inspected the 2nd dose of vaccination drive programme at Thoubal Khunou Village and Babu Bazar.

The MLA appreciated the activities of the Covid-19 Task Force, Thoubal Khunou, and the District Administration. Thoubal Khunou Village has 825 voters.

“Vaccination is the best way to protect from related high degree of serious infections and death due to covid-19 and post-covid complications. I urge all to get vaccinated to fight against COVID, in view of the pandemic," Meghachandra said.
